為致敬中國電影誕生120周年，根據江蘇省電影局部署安排，由江蘇省電影集團精心策劃的“時光記憶”藝術電影展映蘇州站將於4月18日至20日在蘇藝影城（藝術中心IMAX店）舉辦，屆時《小小得月樓》《青春祭》《盜馬賊》《靜靜的嘛呢石》《大世界》《過昭關》等凝聚時代印記的影像將在蘇州的大銀幕上次第綻放。

Six films from two thematic units are selected

Following the movie-watching boom triggered by the first exhibition in Nanjing, this Suzhou screening event specially combines the cultural characteristics of Suzhou, selects six films, and shows the inheritance and innovation of Chinese films with two theme units: "Echo" and "New Voice".

Among them, the "Echo" unit includes "Youth Festival", "Horse Thief", "Quiet Mani Stone" and "Little Moon Tower":

Tian Zhuangzhuang's "Horse Thief" (2005) uses the epic lens language of Tibet to interrogate faith and survival; "The Sacrifice of Youth" (0) looks back at the scars of youth from the perspective of educated youth, showing the collision between human nature and the times. Director Wanma Tseden's work "The Quiet Mani Stone" (0) uses the perspective of a "little lama" as an incision to show an image of the reality of life under faith.

It is worth mentioning that Suzhou's local comedy "Little Deyue Lou" (1983), a classic work with the background of Suzhou's food culture, will lead the audience to relive the fireworks of "Suzhou-style life", and complement each other with cultural symbols such as Suzhou's intangible cultural heritage "Su lantern" and "Su noodles".

The animated film "Big World" (2018) uses black humor to deconstruct the absurdity of the city, forming a mirror image with the modern prosperity outside the ancient city of Suzhou; "Crossing the Zhao Pass" (0) measures the rural China with the warmth of the ancestors and grandchildren, echoing the simple human feelings of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River.
