The Mavericks guard suffered the same injury for the fourth time this season against the Clippers

The Dallas Mavericks' season this year has been nothing short of hell, and that's been in a lot of ways, in terms of injuries. They nearly dropped the game due to injury, allowing small forwards to play center, and players on two-way contracts were disqualified after reaching their appearance limit. Their injury situation worsened again in Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

With minutes remaining, defender Jaden Hardy sprained his ankle after getting inside and had to be immediately picked up back to the dressing room. After the injury, he basically rubbed all the way to the sideline and rolled in pain. He ended up scoring 16 points on 0-of-0 shooting.

The Mavericks are now left with just one healthy point guard: Spencer Dinwiddie. Kyrie Irving tore his anterior cruciate ligament in March, Dante Exum fractured his left hand, Brandon Williams was one of the players on a two-way contract who reached the limit of appearances, and Hardy sprained his ankle again. Williams could sign a standard NBA contract, but it won't happen until 11/0 at the earliest, due to salary cap restrictions. The team really needs a ball handler like Luka Doncic right now.
