The author of this paper is Mr. Li, an associate researcher from a university in Chongqing, and behind it is a warm story of doctor-patient collaboration......

It turned out that at the end of 2024, Mr. Li was hospitalized in the hospital for lung infection. During his hospitalization, the department's medical team developed a personalized treatment plan to help him gradually improve. Looking back on that time, Mr. Li was very emotional: "Dr. Mei always took the trouble to answer my questions and explain the problems and treatment principles presented by the lung CT images in an easy-to-understand way. I was also impressed by the acupuncture doctor and the nurse who applied the auricular acupoints, not only for their superb skills, but also for enthusiastically instructing me to pinch the corresponding acupuncture points of the auricle, which made people feel very warm. ”

"We were all impressed by the professionalism of the patient, who often used his computer to work from his hospital bed during his hospitalization, and later learned that the two SCI papers he submitted were facing revision deadlines, and in order to support his academic tasks, we tried to create a quiet working environment for him with less unnecessary interruptions while ensuring treatment." Mei Chunxia said.

In the end, both of Mr. Li's papers were accepted and published in the top journals in the first region of his professional field. "During the 12 days of hospitalization, the doctor not only cured my body, but also gave me mental encouragement, so that I could successfully complete the revision of my thesis." Mr. Li recalled. In between treatments, he often exchanged English essay writing skills with medical staff, and continued to receive rehabilitation guidance after being discharged from the hospital.

"This acknowledgment is not only a personal gratitude, but also a tribute to the clinical medical workers who protect scientific research and exploration, without their scientific treatment rhythm and humane space, it would be difficult for me to complete the thesis before the deadline." Mr. Li said.
