當地時間4月2日14時50分，緬甸7.9地震122小時後，一名男教師在遭受地震重創的實皆被消防人員救出。現場視頻顯示，男子被抬出時，手腳被綁帶固定，身旁有救援人員舉著吊瓶。隨後，獲救男子被送上救護車，現場響起了掌聲。

4月3日，楊喬告訴九派新聞，離震中較近的實皆省也是受災嚴重地區，當地的建築物損毀嚴重。其中，實皆省消防局發生嚴重坍塌，消防車被壓在房屋下，救援裝備全被毀掉，“瞭解這一情況后，我們團隊緊急採購，準備相關救援裝備送到消防局”。

楊喬補充，除了運送物資到實皆救援，北京蓮心慈善基金會聯合重慶市華岩文教基金會、樂善慈善會以及曼德勒同心志願者團隊還於3月31日和4月1日兩批次運送救災物資到實皆，發放到各災民點。
