After the Memphis Grizzlies lost to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, Grizzlies guard Ja Morant appears to be in trouble.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania and Tim McMahon in the afternoon, Morant is under investigation for allegedly pointing a finger gun at Warriors forward Draymond Green in celebration.
The NBC Sports Bay Area captured a video of the incident, and Green quickly approached the referee and asked for a technical foul on Morant — a gesture that mimicked in the process.
Morant, 25, was banned twice two seasons ago for brandishing a gun on an Instagram livestream. The first suspension was 0 and the second was 0 — all of which hit Morant's public image, from which he hasn't really recovered.
Morant remains a star player on the court, averaging 1.0 points per game over the past two seasons as he battles a shoulder injury.
