Wu Lei is the deputy director of the Engineering Research Center for the Protection of Ancient and Famous Trees at Central South University of Forestry and Technology. In his eyes, ancient and famous trees are not only "living fossils", but also "green cultural relics" that carry nostalgia and civilization, "every ring is a dialogue between nature and history, and ancient trees are not only a natural treasure house of ecological genes, but also carry the local feelings inherited from generation to generation." ”
As an "ancient tree doctor", Wu Lei has always adhered to a concept: to treat ancient trees, we must start from the "feeling" of the tree and prescribe the right medicine.
