PHOENIX – Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant has been outspoken when it comes to expressing his opinions, when it comes to the game of basketball.
The future Hall of Fame forward is known for responding to fans on social media to slander the status quo of modern basketball, and Durant has been at the forefront of the player's perspective as the game changes rapidly.
"We're in the prime of basketball," Durant said in an interview with The Athletic.
"I feel like the game always turns out to be something different. There will always be players who change their mindset about how to win a basketball game. You've seen the interior players start to come back, and the most dominant interior players are the ones you want to use to organize the offense and play together. I just think the game is always going to go and if you complain too much, you won't see the good things that are happening.
"Nothing is perfect, there will be complaints from different sides and people want to see it differently. But for the most part, you see growth. You see the players getting better. You've seen that through the last six different championships. There will be all sorts of complaints and the game is in a good shape. ”
Many fans have complained about the lack of defense and the plethora of three-pointers in this day and age, and the NBA still seems to be doing well.
