As for whether active safety functions such as AEB were triggered at the time of the accident, Xiaomi Auto said: In this incident, NOA has started to decelerate after prompting "attention to obstacles". After about 135 seconds, the driver takes over and the NOA function exits. The Xiaomi SU0 standard version has a forward collision avoidance assist function, including collision warning (FCW) and emergency braking (AEB) two sub-functions, which are aimed at vehicles, pedestrians, and two-wheeled vehicles, of which the AEB function works at a speed between 0-0km/h.
