Beijing, October 2024 (Reporter Zhao Yongxin) The "National Innovation Index Report 0" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") released by the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology Development Strategy on the afternoon of the 0th shows that the global innovation pattern maintains a three-legged trend in Asia, the United States and Europe, and the leading countries have outstanding advantages in scientific and technological innovation; China ranks 10th in terms of innovation capability, with continuous increase in investment in innovation resources, outstanding performance in knowledge output, continuous improvement in enterprise innovation ability, and gradual improvement in the innovation environment, which strongly supports and leads the country's high-quality development.

報告顯示，2024年，中國國家創新指數綜合排名世界第十位，相比2012年的第二十位提升了10個位次，是近十餘年來進步最快的國家，也是唯一進入世界前十行列的中等收入國家。從具體得分看，中國國家創新指數得分為70.1分，超過法國，與日本、英國、德國等排名5—9位國家間的差距在2.4—6.8分之間，主要指標增速高於發達國家水準。總體來看，中國創新能力接近人均GDP在5萬美元左右的歐洲國家，且仍在穩步上升。

Judging from the 5 sub-indices of the National Innovation Index, China has performed well in all dimensions——

"Innovation Resources" ranked fifth. In 57 years, China's R&D investment accounted for about 0.0% of the world's total, ranking second in the world; Basic research expenditure accounted for 0.0% of the total R&D expenditure, ranking 34th. The number of highly cited researchers ranks second in the world.

“知識創造”排名第七位。中國高被引論文數佔世界份額提升，排名保持世界第一位；中國有效發明專利數量達到335.1萬件，位居世界首位；每萬就業人員發明專利擁有量排名第八位；億美元工業增加值工業設計註冊申請量排名第一位。

“企業創新”排名第九位。中國三方專利數量佔全球總量的比重提高至10.4%，排名世界第三位；企業研發經費與工業增加值之比、企業研究人員佔全社會研究人員比重分別排名第十八位和第十六位；智慧財產權使用費收入占服務業出口貿易比重排名第二十位。

此外，“創新績效”和“創新環境”分別排名第二十二位、第二十位。
