Intel's new CEO, Chen Liwu, has officially taken up his post to take the helm of the semiconductor giant. In the latest report, Chen Liwu wrote a letter to investors, in which he announced the future development plan of Intel, and also promised to shift investment to more efficient areas, so that shareholders can achieve higher returns.

首先是資本支出的減少，CEO在信中表示英特爾正計劃繼續裁員15%，並且希望最高可以節省100億美元的開支。除此之外也將減少複雜的業務流程，讓行政更加高效。當然對於消費者來說，英特爾已經確認了下一代基於最新製程工藝打造的Panther Lake將於2025年下半年發佈，採用的是備受英特爾期待的Intel 18A工藝，預計將會在2026年正式量產，從而讓英特爾處理器的能效比再提升一個檔次，除此之外，Nova Lake的下代產品或許也將在2026年和大家正式见面。
