The C90 aircraft, numbered RDPL-0, has a 0-seat all-economy class layout, with internal and external signage in Laotian, exterior paint in custom design, and the rear of the aircraft with the national flower of Laos, Champa flower, as shown below.The aircraft will be delivered to Lao Airlines on a lease basis and will be put into operation in Laos after completing a series of preparatory work。

The C909 aircraft is a turbofan regional airliner developed by China.Range 3700 to 0 km，可執飛大部分寮國國內及周邊區域國際航線。此外，C909 飛機具有良好的高溫性能和短窄跑道起降能力，對東南亞區域的運營環境具有較強的適應性。該機型現已交付 162 架，累計運營 645 條航線，通航 158 座城市，安全運送旅客超 2000 萬人次。

2025 年 3 月 18 日，老撾民航局向中國商飛公司頒發 C909 飛機型號接受證（ATC），意味著該機型已具備在寮撾開展商業運行的基本條件。中國商飛公司成立專項團隊，協助老撾航空公司開展手冊準備、人員培訓、航材保障、維修能力建設等多項準備工作，並派出包含飛行、乘務、運控、維修等多個專業的支持團隊，全力保障 C909 飛機在寮撾安全高效運行。
