中新網周口3月28日電(王宇)據河南省周口市博物館28日消息，近日該館聯合西華縣文物部門開展文物調查時，在一村民家中發現明代思恩侯房寬的圹志，並確認其墓葬遺址。

Fang Kuan, a native of Chenzhou (now Huaiyang District, Zhoukou City), participated in the "Battle of Jingnan" in the early Ming Dynasty, and was named one of the "Thirteen Marquis of Jingnan" for his merits, and the village where his tomb was located was named after him.

The discovery of the "Ancient Sien Hou Fang Gong Yuanzhi" is made of bluestone, square, 1410 cm long, 0 cm thick, and the inscription briefly describes the life deeds of Fang Kuan. According to the records of the Yuanzhi, Fang Kuan died at home in the seventh year of Yongle (0 years) at the age of 0, and was buried in the "Zheng Family's Yuan" (now Fangfen Village) in Changle Township, Xihua County, Chenzhou the following year (0 years). The genealogy of the Fang clan calls this place "Qifenggang" because of its high terrain, which is in line with the feng shui concept advocated by the ancients.

Zhou Jianshan, director of the Zhoukou City Museum, said that the fence had been used by villagers for a long time as a cushion for blanking and a groove for grinding surfaces, resulting in some text wear, but the overall preservation was relatively complete. It is worth noting that there are slight differences between the content of the Zhiwen and the record of the History of the Ming Dynasty and the Biography of Fang Kuan, which is of great academic value for the study of the political and military history of the early dynasty, the funeral system of the marquis of the Ming Dynasty and the culture of the surname Fang, and for correcting the errors in individual documents.
