Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder in which patients are mainly manifested by communication disorders, limited interests, and repetitive behaviors, which affect their ability to take care of themselves in life, learn and socialize.

"Children with autism feel like they're inside a glass enclosure, and music is a great way to wake them up and help them communicate with the outside world." Fu Junfen, President of the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (hereinafter referred to as "Zhejiang University Children's Hospital"), said, "Caring for the autistic group is a systematic project, which should not only focus on the rehabilitation and growth of autistic children, but also need to make this group 'heard', 'seen' and 'cared for' through systematic measures, so as to create a more inclusive and equal social environment for them and achieve comprehensive and healthy physical and mental development." ”

At the beginning of the concert, the African drum performance "Proud Boy" brought by 5 autistic children instantly ignited the atmosphere of the audience.

The concert is divided into three chapters: "Warmth", "Hearing" and "Future". Among them, Jia Lingyue, a young teacher from the School of Music Education of Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, and Jun Jing, a child with autism, jointly performed the interactive teaching session of the piano "Sonata in C major", showing the unique charm of music.

This is the first time that Jia Lingyue has carried out interactive teaching with children with autism. In her opinion, children with autism are more focused on learning music, and teachers should focus on expanding children's imagination in the teaching process, "for them, music is an important way to perceive the beauty of the world".

At the event site, the Moganshan Campus Base of the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University was officially unveiled as the "Literary and Art Empowerment and Music Healing Corner" and the "Spiritual Co-prosperity Consortium". At the same time, the creation plan of the original digital album "Hearing the Warm Voice" of Music Healing was also launched at the scene.

It is reported that the program will bring together outstanding young musicians, scientists and medical experts at home and abroad to create a batch of targeted healing music through the interdisciplinary intersection and artistic creative expression of music and medicine, create a "music prescription" music library, and promote the collaborative innovation and development of music healing industry, university and research.

On stage, children with autism play confidently. In the audience, parent Zhang Lijuan's face was full of relief. Her children are now part of three bands, are bass players and lead singers, and often perform in performances, "music has made him dare to express himself and integrate into society, which has become an integral part of his life."
