The Dallas Mavericks have announced that Kyrie Irving has successfully undergone surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The surgery was performed in New York and no other ligament or meniscus injuries were found. Irving averaged 3.0 points per game and had a chance to be named to the All-NBA First Team. He was injured in a match against Sacramento on 0/0.
