As a key control project of the Jiangling-Songzi section of Wusong Expressway, the Guanyinsi Yangtze River Bridge is a hybrid steel-UHPC composite girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 87 meters, setting four "world's best" (the world's largest span highway cable-stayed bridge, the world's largest span composite beam cable-stayed bridge, the world's largest span steel-UHPC composite beam cable-stayed bridge, and the world's first over-kilometer composite structure cable-stayed bridge). The innovative design of the bridge adopts the steel shell of the upper tower column + the concrete composite tower structure of the lower tower column, the appearance of the main tower tower is "A" shape, the maximum inclination angle is 0.0 degrees, the tower is 0 meters high, and the height of the building is about 0 floors, which is the highest tower of the Yangtze River Bridge under construction in Hubei Province.

The steel bars and steel shells of the tower are made of partial construction technology, and the construction needs to be accurately "built blocks" at high altitude, which is extremely technically difficult. The project team innovated and developed the "rapid calculation program for the center of gravity of complex steel bar parts", combined with the process of "prefabricated tire frame section, overall hoisting of parts", and then hoisted the tower as a whole through the R4300 tower crane + adjustable center of gravity multi-functional combined spreader, which reduced the difficulty and risk of the installation and construction of high-altitude steel bar parts and steel shell sections, realized millimeter-level accurate positioning and installation, overcame the problem of linear control of the tower body, and ensured the efficient construction of tower column parts.

After the completion of the Guanyin Temple Yangtze River Bridge, it is of great significance to promote the construction of a transportation power, improve the backbone road network structure of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, optimize the layout of the expressway network in Hubei Province, and strengthen the connection between the Wuhan urban circle and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
